Wachschlafen

In the transition from waking to sleeping, the border
between dream and reality fades. It is a state of ”mental
weightlessness”, when thoughts drift, memories and dreams blend, branch off and overlap again. In the installation Wachschlafen Jan Imberi produces a condition which is commonly described as borderline, a transgression between here and there.
